Responsibilities
- Project Support: Collaborate with senior engineers to assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects, including site assessments, feasibility studies, and design development.
- Design and Analysis: Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to develop comprehensive design solutions. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, reports, and technical documentation to support project deliverables and client communication.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on engineering designs and reports to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project-related inquiries, provide updates, and facilitate project approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License: Must hold a valid Professional Engineer license in the state of New Jersey or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in site development, land planning, or transportation projects.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software. Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information to clients and team members effectively.
