Job Title: Sr. Electrical/Supplier Engineer-PCBA
Location: Arden Hills, MN
Pay Rate: $45/hr - $63/hr (depending on experience)
Project Duration: 1 Year
Job Description:
Electrical Engineer/Supplier focused- to support the redesign and lifecycle management of complex Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) within capital medical systems. This role involves working across multiple system-level components, driving design changes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, manufacturability, and speed to market for regulated medical devices.
Qualifications:
- Background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (required)
- 5-8 years of experience in electrical design, PCBA development, or electronic systems engineering
- Experience working with complex, multi-board systems (e.g., 7 17 boards per unit)
- Understanding of component obsolescence management, PCB layout redesign, and design transfer
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage detailed system files and documentation
- Experience with capital systems or large electromechanical assemblies
- Familiarity with supplier collaboration and global component sourcing
