Job Details
Position: Sr. Cloud Engineer AWS (Java/Python)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: Contract W2
Candidates need to have:
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale AWS-based enterprise solutions.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ECS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, Route53, Systems Manager, and Config.
- Experience building infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, SAM, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting and working with APIs (REST, JSON, Bash).
- Experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
- Experience with event-driven architectures, serverless computing, and data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect Professional).
- Experience designing cloud-native microservices and modern distributed systems.
