We re looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Ruby Developer who s eager to grow their skills while contributing to real-world production applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaboration, learning from experienced engineers, and gradually taking ownership of features in a supportive team environment.
This role offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and a clear path toward mid-level and beyond.
What You ll Do
- Build and maintain features using Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Work within an established codebase while learning best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
- Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and team leads
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing
- Grow toward increased technical ownership over time
What We re Looking For
- Experience with Ruby and Rails (professional or strong project-based)
- Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and ActiveRecord
- Experience using Git and working in collaborative codebases
- Exposure to testing frameworks (RSpec or similar)
- Comfort working in a hybrid or on-site environment
- Desire to learn, ask questions, and improve code quality
Nice to Have
- Experience with REST APIs or background jobs
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
- macOS or Linux development experience
