Job Details
Title: PL/SQL Developer with PostgreSQL
Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite)
Client: Coforge / AMEX GBT
Summary:
Seeking a strong PL/SQL Developer with hands-on PostgreSQL experience to support database development, optimization, and migration work. Candidate must be able to troubleshoot, write complex queries, and work across Oracle and Postgres environments.
Must-Have Skills:
- PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, triggers, tuning)
- Strong PostgreSQL development
- SQL performance tuning
- Data migration between Oracle & Postgres (nice to have)
- ETL understanding (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL and PostgreSQL code
- Design database objects (tables, views, functions)
- Troubleshoot performance issues across Oracle/Postgres
- Support application teams with DB enhancements and deployments
- Participate in code reviews and best-practice enforcement
