JD Edwards AP Functional Specialist

Project: JD Edwards Role: JD Edwards AP Functional Specialist T&M Cap: 160 hours

Resource Model: 2 weeks full-time then hours as needed for a few weeks, including
providing support troubleshooting issues during month-end close, then as needed on
T&M basis

Background
Entire JDE AP Process Team quit, team has picked up the work but there are process
issues likely because there AP gaps in the knowledgebase as they lack sufficient
controls and related documentation
High-Level Business Requirement
Review current AP processes in JDE to address issues with closing the books
Balancing
o Cross batches through entities
Clearing report doesn't clear
Understanding appropriate end-to-end processes

Activities
Review current AP processes
Review identified period close balance issues and perform root-cause analysis
Review recordings from prior month-end closes to help understand their process
Meet with onshore and offshore AP team to review their related processes
Provide readout on findings including permanent corrective actions that can be
part of their knowledge base documentation

Customer Requirements
Provide access to an Adecco resource with appropriate Admin access to JDE to
walk specialist through their processes in the system
Provide identified discrepancies
Provide related business process documentation (if available).
Provide recordings from prior month-end closes
Provide appropriate level of access to JDE
