Role: Front End Developer
Location: Malvern, PA (onsite day 1 for hybrid model)
Length: 1+ year (likely to be extended multiple years)
Responsibilities
Priority of knowledge would be:
1. TypeScript
2. React
3. Python
The Model Governance team supports all models developed at Client by creating an inventory system around the models. This system allows Vanguard to stay in compliance with the new and evolving regulation with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. On this team you will build out new feature and support a React built user interface. You will work with maintaining the infrastructure and database hosted in AWS. The position will require you to participate in planning and estimation of the new features and bugs in the application.

Job Duties
1. Involve in designing web pages using HTML 5, CSS3, TypeScript, Bootstrap, SASS, React.js, Redux.
2. Works in using React JS components, Forms, Events, Keys, Router, Animsations, and Flux concept.
3. Implemented various screens for the front end using React.js and used various predefined components from NPM (Node Package Manager) and redux library.
In the end we would like to have full stack engineers but if they are strong UI with no python experience we could work with that as we primarily have backend knowledge presently. They would be eventually asked to pick up python/backend related tasks but if they are strong in UI we would understand if it took some time to implement backend work.

- 70% Scrum calls/ meetings - Co-ordinate with offshore and cross functionality teams on daily basis to ensure alignment with Objectives.
- 10% Production Support - Involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving production issues to ensure smooth production operations.
- 10% Feature Implementation Co-ordination - Attend daily meetings primarily focused in planning.
- 10% is discussing new feature implementation for our application.
