Description
We are looking for a motivated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position within the education industry, offering an excellent opportunity for entry-level technicians to build their skills while supporting essential equipment upgrades and refreshes. Responsibilities:
Perform equipment upgrades and refreshes, ensuring all devices are properly configured and operational.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for Chromebooks and other hardware.
Address software-related issues across workstations and PCs to maintain smooth functionality.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems with desktop systems and peripherals.
Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and ensure accurate deployment of equipment.
Deliver prompt and detail-oriented support to end-users, resolving technical inquiries effectively.
Maintain detailed documentation of technical processes and resolutions.
Assist in maintaining the overall performance of computer systems within the organization.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and protocols during equipment handling and support.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and support tools to improve service delivery.
Requirements
Familiarity with Chromebook devices and their technical support needs.
Basic understanding of PC hardware and software systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with end-users and colleagues.
Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Previous experience in a technical support role is preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
