This role requires deep expertise in advanced routing, switching, SD-WAN, security, and cloud networking technologies. The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership, serve as the final escalation point for complex network issues, and ensure that network solutions meet business needs for scalability, resilience, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design
    • Lead end-to-end design of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center network solutions.
    • Develop high-level and detailed network architectures, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance.
    • Define network standards, best practices, and roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategies.
  • Implementation & Operations
    • Oversee deployment of enterprise network solutions, including SD-WAN (SilverPeak/Aruba), firewalls, load balancers, and cloud connectivity.
    • Provide Level 3 escalation support for critical incidents and complex problem resolution.
    • Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring improvements.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Design secure network architectures incorporating firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust models.
    • Partner with security teams to enforce compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to integrate network solutions across platforms.
    • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on projects and operations.
    • Engage with vendors and service providers to evaluate emerging technologies and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in networking, with at least 3 5 years in an architect/lead role.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Advanced knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN).
    • Deep hands-on experience with Aruba SilverPeak SD-WAN, Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, and related platforms.
    • Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) including hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity.
    • Strong background in network security (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, zero trust).
  • Certifications (preferred but not required): CCIE (Routing & Switching/Security/Enterprise), JNCIE, or equivalent expert-level certifications.
