Project & Implementation Manager
Location:
Tallahassee, FL or willing to relocate (moving reimbursement credit may be available).
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Project & Implementation Manager to lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects and software implementations. You ll ensure projects meet business objectives, stay within scope, and deliver measurable outcomes while guiding organizational change and training stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee comprehensive project and implementation plans.
Allocate and manage resources (budget, teams, technology) to maximize outcomes.
Build strong relationships across senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
Identify risks and roadblocks early; develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure digital solutions meet quality standards and performance benchmarks.
Manage the organizational and cultural transitions that come with digital implementations.
Lead customization and configuration of SaaS applications to fit business needs.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth project collaboration.
Drive clear communication among stakeholders; deliver training to end-users.
Oversee testing (QA) to ensure flawless functionality before go-live.
Manage go-live activities and provide immediate support.
Conduct post-implementation evaluations to identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
Strong experience with digital transformation, SaaS implementations, and enterprise-level projects.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on experience leading technical teams and end-user training sessions.
Proficiency in using project management and tracking tools (e.g., Baton or similar).
Employment Type:
