Sr. IT Project Manager

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to support a critical financial system used for managing royalty processing and distribution workflows. This role is essential to ensuring project deliverables are met on time, stakeholders are aligned, and progress remains on track across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for a large-scale financial system implementation, ensuring all project elements stay on schedule and within scope.


• Lead cross-functional meetings, manage timelines, and drive accountability across internal teams.


• Maintain clear documentation and status reporting for leadership and stakeholders.


• Collaborate across technical and business teams to align development activities with broader organizational goals.


• Identify and mitigate risks proactively to avoid delivery disruptions.


• Track tasks and deliverables in project management tools (e.g., JIRA), ensuring consistent and structured workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project/program management, ideally within software development or financial system environments.


• Strong knowledge of enterprise project delivery lifecycles, tools, and best practices.


• Familiarity with financial processes or royalty management systems is a plus.


• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and similar project tracking tools.


• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Proven ability to work independently while managing complex initiatives across multiple teams.


• PMP certification is a plus, but not required.

Preferred

• Media or entertainment industry experience.


• Availability to occasionally meet in person in Los Angeles or New York

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $69-79/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
