Summary
Oversees and executes IT projects for the Perdue AgriBusiness (PAB) division often with a focus on data analysis, design and implementation of application solutions. Manages and coordinates all phases of a project, developing analytical strategies, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Responsible for communicating complex findings in a clear and concise manner with stakeholders at all levels. Will be required to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead analysts gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and develop technical solutions for business needs. They design new or modified application functionality.
- Complete system configuration and testing to meet the design criteria for strategic projects in respective area.
- Works with the IT Manager to implement and facilitate project management best practices for the PAB IT team. This includes the effective use of PM software, the stage-gate process, project prioritization, etc.
- Defines project resource requirements and secures resources. Defines project timelines and uses appropriate tools for project scheduling and tracking.
- Assists IT Manager in recruiting, developing, and mentoring a diverse work team to provide the best skills needed to support business and IT initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Manage structured database systems using SQL-based technologies.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Understand and evaluate business requirements to hypothesize business solutions.
- Collaborate with other technical teams on solutions, enhancements, reporting requirements and testing procedures.
- Build effective working relationships within business units, plants and functional groups, maintain key relationships to provide quality service and support.
- Maintain high productivity and quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to self-manage and complete projects and tasks, on-time, with little supervision.

Minimum Education
- BS degree, Information Technology, or related discipline
Experience Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with project management, business process reengineering, and/or translating business requirements to technical solutions.
- Managed multiple large projects with full cycle implementations in a senior-level role.
- Experienced in Microsoft Project or similar tool to create work plans, resource schedules, and understanding critical milestones with an understanding of project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).
- Working knowledge of Process flow tools to map business processes.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite including creation of Excel spreadsheets is required.
- Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; as well as communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and people management skills are required.
- Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects.
Experience Preferred
- Experience with Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM).
- Experience with PowerBI, Snowflake, Dataiku.
- Exposure and/or familiarity with PL/SQL or other languages
- Experience in Organizational Change Management requirements including creation and delivery of training materials.
- Experienced in project tools to create work plans, resource schedules, and understanding critical milestones with an understanding of project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile).
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- This position will be based out of the Perdue AgriBusiness office at Salisbury, MD.
- Rotating weekly on-call to cover off hours and weekends.
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment with frequent use of computer workstation.
- Some minor overnight travel, including travel to other company sites and/or conferences to support strategic projects.
- When in a plant environment:
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
- May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
