Description

SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to support the U.S. Army 365 (A365) end users by providing Tier II/III technical support to deliver expertise in Azure Identity Management, Azure Identity Protection, and Office 365 Identity services, ensuring that Army customers' data remain secure and protected across both hybrid and cloud environments. You will troubleshoot complex identity issues, strengthen authentication and access controls, and collaborate with technical teams to maintain compliance and operational readiness.

NOTE: This is a fully Remote / Work from Home position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Tier II/III support tickets involving Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), identity synchronization technologies, authentication and authorization services, and O365 identity management.
  • Administer Identity Management, Federation, Security Management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Permissions Management, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Manage and troubleshoot ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Single Sign-On (SSO), SCIM, and PIV/credential management systems.
  • Implement and enforce identity governance policies aligned with DoD and Zero Trust principles.
  • Monitor and respond to identity-related security incidents.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Compute (IaaS), Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Edge/Devices.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise identity protocols (Kerberos, PKI, OAuth, SAML, WS-Fed).
  • Hands-on experience with ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, SSO, SCIM, MFA, and credential management systems.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience with AESMP or comparable ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, etc).
  • Experience with DoD O365 tenants (Army 365, GCC High, or DoD environments).

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Intermediate level Microsoft 365 Certifications (SC - 300, SC - 401, AZ -104).
  • DoD 8140 IAT certification, Level I or higher, such as A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, etc.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance prior to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret, SAIC will help to obtain Top Secret.
