Position Overview

Client is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise and leadership capabilities, supporting a wide array of medical equipment while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate complex clinical and biomedical devices.
  • Provide technical support for direct patient care equipment.
  • Ensure all devices comply with healthcare safety regulations and standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior biomedical technicians.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Manage high-level customer service concerns and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate technical records.
  • Oversee purchasing of parts and services, ensuring budget adherence.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in biomedical or electro-mechanical equipment repair.
  • Strong proficiency in servicing advanced medical devices such as:
    • Servo U/I Ventilators
    • V60s and Trilogy EV300 Ventilators
    • GE Anesthesia Machines
    • Telemetry Systems
  • Solid understanding of electronic circuitry, schematics, and medical device operations.
  • Familiarity with basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and development.
  • Effective communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Basic networking knowledge and a safety-first mindset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 10 years of biomedical repair experience in hospital or clinical environments.
  • Experience working with operating room (OR) technology and telemetry systems.
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems and regulatory compliance documentation
