Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist with strong experience in the financial services domain, specifically within credit card processing and authorization systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for testing various credit card functionalities, including simulating and validating multiple transaction scenarios to ensure seamless system performance and accuracy.

You will work within a dynamic QA team focusing on TSYS-based validation and credit card authorization flows. Experience in using Splunk for log validation and troubleshooting is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional and regression testing for credit card authorization and transaction systems.
Simulate multiple credit card usage scenarios to validate system behavior and accuracy.
Validate transactions and data integrity in TSYS environments.
Utilize Splunk (or similar tools) for log validation and issue investigation.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Document test cases, test results, and defects accurately and efficiently.
Support production validation and troubleshooting as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer / QA Specialist / QA Analyst in financial services.
Hands-on experience with TSYS or similar card authorization/processing systems.
Familiarity with Splunk for log validation or monitoring.
Strong understanding of credit card transaction life cycle and payment gateway systems.
Experience with manual and functional testing; automation experience is a plus.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Richmond, VA).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in credit card authorization, payments, or banking domain testing.
Exposure to tools such as JIRA, Postman, or SQL for validation.
Strong understanding of financial transaction processing flows.
