Duties: | Position Summary: The Sr. People Partner (HR Business Partner) will enable business success, amplify our culture, and increase organizational effectiveness through Cohesity's People Strategy. This role will support Key Responsibilities: Strategic partner/trusted advisor to key executives and their organizations. Works closely with senior executives and their leadership teams to define and execute business strategies that enable growth and transformation. Defining and executing strategic global HR solutions. Lead management in organizational assessment and diagnosis to revise business strategies into actions that deliver results. Driving a high-performance culture across the organizations you support. Establishing a deep understanding of Cohesity's overall business and strategy. Driving organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent initiatives to identify and execute against current and future talent needs. Leading organizational change efforts. Engage as a consultant and coach to key leaders and their respective organizations while translating business needs into People plans and initiatives. Driving efforts to build upon our culture, values, and overall employee experience. Being proactive with people managers and leaders to ensure we are building high-performing organizations. Becoming a "business first, HR second HR professional - using HR skills, programs and initiatives to engage with the business. Working and leading with peer People and Places HR leaders to provide a "global, then local approach to organization opportunities and initiatives. Delivering all HR programs such as performance assessments, promotions, succession planning, and employee engagement plans with Excellence and global consistency. Leading with data and metrics to guide decision-making. Understanding what change management needs to look like to work with and guide people managers. Partner with other functions, including Finance, Legal, and HR Centers of Excellence, to develop value-added solutions. Partner with functional and regional counterparts to influence global strategic alignment Analyzing business and employee insights and metrics to drive system improvements. Driving and at times leading company-wide talent initiatives, collaborating for global success for Cohesity. Cultivating and maintaining deep and broad connections throughout the organization to inform a well-rounded, timely, thoughtful perspective on the organization and culture |
Skills: | Experience supporting EMEA/APJ regions Experience supporting and American Head Quartered business High tolerance for ambiguity and change Prior experience in a technology company, preferably in the cloud, BI/analytics, or platform as a service setting Strong collaboration skills and ability to provide business and HR knowledge to define solution options Ability to gather and synthesize information from different sources to raise awareness and inspire change A "business first mentality of understanding Cohesity's portfolio of products and services and using that knowledge to apply HR and People solutions and outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. Growing competence in the various HR functional areas: employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, data and analytics, etc. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in employee engagement and performance management processes and trends Ability to work out of our Cork office, Ireland at a minimum of 2-3 days a week |
