Senior Commercial Risk Review Auditor

Compensation:
Pay Range: $74900K-$107000K

Description:
Responsible for reviewing loan assets pledged as collateral to ensure adherence to policies.
Focus on Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans.
Remote position based in Michigan.
Conduct audits and prepare reports on findings.
Communicate audit results and recommendations to management.
Train other auditors in best practices and procedures.
Perform special assignments as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform reviews of assets pledged as collateral for advances.
Develop standards for CRE asset pledges.
Present detailed reports and recommendations to management.
Conduct financial statement analysis to verify collateral reports.
Communicate with management to prepare for audits and report findings.
Train and assist other auditors in complex situations.
Conduct onsite audits of third-party custodians.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of five years' experience in a financial institution, preferably in lending, financial analysis, or auditing.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in generic software applications like word processors and spreadsheets.
Willing to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
