Job Details
The Client is seeking a UAT Test Manager with a thorough understanding of SDLC and Software Quality Assurance concepts and best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, proven knowledge of testing methodologies, and the ability to manage defects and develop QA metrics. This role requires strong collaboration skills and expertise in various testing tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run daily Defect triage meetings and reporting.
- Report the progress of UAT.
- Drive and report Interface and integration testing.
- Manage the UAT schedule.
- Work closely with other teams, facilitate meetings, and interact effectively with both technical and business team members.
- Resolve conflicts.
- Identify gaps in test coverage to meet business requirements/needs.
- Organize and facilitate test execution of test cases/scripts in a proficient manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years experience in software testing.
- Thorough understanding of SDLC and Software Quality Assurance concepts and best practices.
- Proven working knowledge of testing methodologies and ability to manage defects and develop QA metrics.
- Required experience with HP/Mercury Quality Center.
- Hands-on experience in Jira and X Ray.
- Experience testing web applications in AWS.
- In-depth knowledge developing test strategies and test plans for large complex systems.
- Expert with creating test plans, developing test scenarios, and creating QA metrics and reports.
- Working knowledge of supporting protocols that support software development efforts for mainframe and distributed environments.
- Proficient in Software Testing techniques, methodologies and defect management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mainframe programming, scripting or test automation.
