Job Description

Location: On-site

Schedule: Full-Time - Rotating


The following outlines the primary duties of the role but is not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned as needed. All personnel must adhere to applicable regulatory, environmental, safety, and operational policies.


The Role

As a Control Room Operator, you will remotely monitor and manage facilities to optimize costs, minimize environmental impact, and enhance health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance.


What You ll Do

Core Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and control SWD facilities to drive operational efficiency and HSE improvements.
  • Perform material balance calculations on gathering systems to validate volumetric accuracy and ensure system integrity.
  • Manage and prioritize active alarms in accordance with control room protocols.
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, coordinating with field teams for resolution.
  • Diagnose instrumentation problems and collaborate with I&E technicians to restore functionality.
  • Resolve SCADA software and infrastructure issues.
  • Partner with the SCADA development team to test new features and provide feedback on current systems.
  • Maintain detailed electronic logbook records of all operational events.
  • Issue work orders and provide daily routing and prioritization guidance to field personnel.
  • Actively participate in all EH&S programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct remote virtual site inspections of facilities.

What You Bring

Must-Have

  • 5+ years of experience as a lease operator, artificial lift technician, I&E technician, or control room operator (preferred).
  • 3+ years of hands-on SCADA system experience (preferred).
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Sound judgment and common-sense problem-solving in daily operations.
  • Direct, transparent communication with leadership and field teams regarding issues, solutions, manpower, and equipment needs.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to field locations as required.
