Job Description
Kratos is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect for it's corporate office. This position will be remote.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Kratos is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong blend of business knowledge, strategic thinking and technical expertise. Responsible for establishing the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap, which includes incorporating on-prem, cloud, data, BI, and AI technologies to create strategic advantage. Managing large-scale projects effectively and playing a key role in source selection efforts. Must have experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design and develop our AI Strategy, IT architecture, and Business Systems to support the Company's business objectives. This position involves creating frameworks, models, and standards that guide technology decisions, ensuring alignment with business perspectives. The ideal Enterprise Architect collaborates with stakeholders across business units, IT teams and leadership to deliver solutions that optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance operations efficiency. This position requires the ability to obtain security clearance, if needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Complete knowledge and full understanding of the area of specialization, principles and practices within a professional discipline.
Strategic planning and alignment to develop the enterprise architecture strategy.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical frameworks and solutions.
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) that incorporate AI-driven solutions to support business goals.
Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter.
Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters.
Lead the integration of AI/ML technologies into enterprise systems.
Evaluate and recommend AI tools, frameworks, and platforms.
Guide cross-functional teams in adopting solutions while ensuring compliance with security, privacy and regulatory standards (e.g., CMMC, GDPR, NIST).
Other job duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Experience and Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Deep knowledge of enterprise technologies.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT Infrastructure.
Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.
Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and the public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing, and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment, and changes, and more.
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning or IoT
Proficiency in Ai/ML frameworks and tools.
Ability to obtain Security Clearance, if needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Requires 5+ years of experience in IT architecture, systems design, or related roles.
Requires 3-5 years in an enterprise architecture capacity.
Advanced certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP) are highly preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Home Office Environment.
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones).
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Yes, as needed.
