Manager, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC):
Job Title: Manager, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager for our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to lead day-to-day operations, ensure the safety of global personnel and assets, and respond to real-time incidents across multiple regions. This role is pivotal in managing risk, enhancing situational awareness, and driving continuous improvement in global security monitoring and response.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage 24/7 GSOC operations across global time zones, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with corporate security standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train GSOC analysts and shift leads to improve team performance and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident response plans, and escalation protocols.
  • Monitor global events and assess their potential impact on company operations, personnel, and assets.
  • Oversee incident management, threat intelligence analysis, and emergency communications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HR, Legal, IT, Facilities, Travel, etc.) to respond to and resolve incidents.
  • Ensure proper use of security technology platforms such as access control, video surveillance, threat monitoring systems, and mass notification tools.
  • Generate and present regular reports, KPIs, and post-incident reviews to senior leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve GSOC systems, processes, and tools to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, information security, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or a related field.
  • 5 8 years of progressive experience in corporate security, GSOC, or similar environment, including 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Deep understanding of global threat landscapes, emergency response, and physical security technologies.
  • Proficiency in security platforms such as Everbridge, Genetec, Lenel, OnSolve, NC4, Dataminr, etc.
  • Experience with real-time monitoring tools, intelligence gathering, and incident documentation systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents across multiple time zones.
