Job Title: Web Content Producer - Sitecore CMS
Location: New York, Remote (Local Preferred)
Position: W2 or 1099
Contractor must have a computer, cell phone, and access to reliable high-speed internet

Client Web Operations seeks a Web Content Producer to perform website updates in Sitecore CMS.
The Web Content Producer will meet with NSYERDA stakeholders regarding their website content and assist in executing content requests, reformatting content, organizing content, correcting errors, and problem-solving with a focus on web design best practices, including responsive and accessible design.

What skills are needed to be successful in this role?
Ability to optimize web pages for search engines,
Ability to design responsive web pages and responsive and accessible information graphics,
Excellent grammar and verbal skills; ability to offer suggestions for simplifying/presenting complex topics on the web,
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2); ability to identify and resolve accessibility issues,
Ability to create, edit, slice, and compress graphics using Adobe Photoshop,
Ability to create and edit HTML using Adobe Dreamweaver,
Ability to find creative solutions to content design requests,
Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS SharePoint, and Office 365,
Organized, professional, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,
Are there any specialized skills that must be present for the position to be successful?
2 or more years of experience with Sitecore CMS,
3 years experience in hand-coding semantic HTML,
3 years experience with Cascading Style Sheets (Bootstrap version 4; version 5 preferred),
3 years experience working with JavaScript libraries (jQuery preferred) within a CMS (Content Management System),
Are there any skills or tasks that the resource needs at the start of engagement?
The ideal candidate will be fluent in creating responsive and accessible designs for informational graphics, embedded external visualizations (Tableau, ArcGIS, MS BI), videos, and interactive presentations.
Experience with web development technologies and related resources such as cascading stylesheets (specifically Bootstrap, version 5), JavaScript (specifically jQuery), and DataTables (JavaScript library) is highly desired
This is not a web programming/developer position; it is largely based around updating existing content and assisting marketing and program staff in producing new content; however, experience with web development technologies and related resources is desired
Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree
Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree with a minor in a related field (such as Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Web Development, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, Business Administration),
Preferred Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Web Development, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related discipline.

Tasks
Manage a high volume of content updates for Client websites within Sitecore CMS;
Meet with client staff as needed regarding website updates;
Advise client staff on best practices for content hierarchy/organization, search engine optimization, and accessibility;
Create responsive designs, information graphics, and visualizations;
Collaborate with the client IT department to implement solutions to enhance client program delivery on the web;
Works closely with client Marketing and Communications to further the client s goals via the client's web properties;
Understand and adhere to the client s policies and procedures; and
Perform other duties as assigned that contribute to the key outcomes of the Web Operations team.
