Job description:

  • Experience in building data warehouse and data model like multi-dimensional star schema with slowly changing dimensions
  • Experience in designing and developing ETL programs using Talend
  • Experienced in developing snowflake, Oracle database components and creating artifacts for deployment
  • Experience in using Talend reusable components like routines, context variable and globalMap variables
  • Experience in using Talend administration console and creating reusable joblets
  • Ability to guide the team to build and support ETL pipelines by providing best practices and standards
  • Knowledge in Datastage to Talend conversion is preferred with focus on migration of platforms
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud services like $3, EC2 and other ETL related services
  • Knowledge in writing ETL process and reports using SQL and PL/SQL including Javascript stored procedure
  • Knowledge in tuning complex stored procedures using Snowflake cloud warehouse
  • Experience in deployment using CICD pipeline frameworks preferably bitbucket and Jenkins
  • Experience in creating orchestrations leveraging Autosys or any other scheduling tools and event driven architecture orchestration
  • Ability to work independently coordinating with multiple teams to provide solutions 2
  • Experience working in Agile environment with multi-tasking capabilities
  • should have hands on experience in basic Unix shell scripting
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
