Position: Administrative Assistant 2

Location: Remote

Duration: 06+ months Contract

Note: Daily Schedule & OT estimate: 40 - Eastern and I think they are willing to be a little flexible so 8-5, 8:30-5:30, or 9-6.The managers are both east coasts, but their teams are spread across the country.

Job Description:
Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for all levels of management including external business partners. Manages schedule(s), coordinates travel arrangements and processes business expenses. Coordinates meetings and events, department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility operations. Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships. Provides general office support. Serves as the department/group contact. Completes special projects as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 3 overall years of experience in the field.
Degrees or certifications required: n/a degree is required to be eligible for this role.
Disqualifiers: Candidates with n/a will not be eligible for the role.
Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on 90 day ramp up period and each week there are markers as to where the candidate should be.

Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to hire a business administrator for the sales organization. They are looking for someone who has experience with Microsoft Office suite, organizational skills, Excel, and working on a sales team. They also want someone who can support multiple managers, be proactive, and handle various administrative tasks such as calendaring, travel, expenses, and meeting management.
Key projects: This role will contribute to no specific key project.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of A day to day in this role would involve supporting two sponsors, who are managers in the sales organization, with various administrative tasks such as calendaring, travel, expenses, meeting management, and OpEx. The role would also require working on ad hoc projects, such as events, computer refreshes, or email distribution lists. The role is remote but may require occasional on-site presence if there is an event and the team needs assistance and if the candidate is located in NYC (but not a requirement if candidate is located in another state). The role would also require knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and organizational skills. The role would have a 90-day ramp period to learn the policies, systems, and team culture of Microsoft..
