Mid-Level Java Developer/Hybrid Minneapolis/Transportation

My team is working with a major player in the transportation industry, looking to improve one of their main applications as they anticipate incoming high traffic. This application is used for planning and booking travel, and is core to the business. They're looking to bring on a Mid-Level Java Developer to write code directly in this environment, from a shiny new office in Minneapolis.

In this role you'll be gaining significant experience with creating incredibly strong and effiicent Java code, as well as shifting code into their AWS environments. Ideally, applicants have 5+ Years of Java Springboot experience, 3+ Years of experience with AWS, as well as some architecture chops. The role is a split hybrid position, with 5 days in office, then 5 days out of office, switching weekly in the Minneapolis area.

Requirements:

- 5+ years software engineering experience
- 5+ years working with Java
- Experience with Springboot
- 3+ Years of Cloud experience in AWS (open to Google Cloud Platform/Azure, as well)
- Experience with DevOps practices preferred
- Local to Minneapolis
