Job Title: IT Vendor Manager (Hybrid Onsite Every Wednesday)
Location: Des Moines
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Overview:
IRG Clients is Seeking an IT Vendor Manager to oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and performance across IT services. This role ensures vendor compliance with organizational standards, manages risk, and supports strategic sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors across software, hardware, cloud, and consulting services.
- Lead SOW negotiations, contract renewal processes, and SLA/KPI compliance monitoring.
- Track vendor spend, manage financial alignment, and support audit/compliance activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and service continuity.
- Track issues, escalations, and change requests; support dispute resolution.
- Communicate vendor updates, risks, and contract changes to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of relevant vendor management or IT contract oversight experience.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years in IT vendor management.
- Experience with SLA/KPI tracking and corrective action planning.
- Knowledge of IT procurement standards, cybersecurity, accessibility, and data privacy.
- Ability to maintain a strategic vendor portfolio and conduct market research.
- Experience benchmarking service levels and pricing.
