Job Description:
Role: Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Fountain Valley, CA(Hybrid)
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple IT Infrastructure teams/functions: Active Directory Migration, O365 Messaging Exchange, Cloud, Storage & Backup, and IT Monitoring Operations.
  • Assess project requirements and recommend suitable IT components.
  • Gather requirements, analyze, design, document, and formalize IT PPM processes including user training, implementation, and support.
  • Lead and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to develop new business opportunities.
  • Recommend system upgrades and new technologies for project efficiency.
  • Establish standards, policies, and procedures for on-premises, cloud infrastructure, and 3rd-party hosting (governance, automation, system hardening).
  • Develop roadmap and lead design/delivery of IT infrastructure using industry best practices and design patterns.
  • Oversee full infrastructure/system lifecycle: planning, process design, and project implementation support.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain scalable, cost-effective, flexible infrastructure aligned with IT strategy and business goals.
  • Ensure system/infrastructure availability to meet defined SLAs.
  • Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery programs in collaboration with Business Continuity Management.
  • Manage vendor relationships for hosted environments.
  • Research and prototype new infrastructure/cloud technologies to reduce costs and improve performance.
  • Meet with managers across departments to assess infrastructure needs.
  • Collaborate with IT analysts to finalize essential infrastructure components.
  • Supervise installation of IT infrastructure and ensure project completion within timeline.

Skills and Specifications
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure in complex environments.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing critical paths.
  • Proactive in identifying risks/issues before they impact projects.
  • Previous hands-on infrastructure experience.
  • 3 5 years of technical project management on large-scale global IT projects.
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IT infrastructure trends and technologies.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery.
