Our direct client is seeking an Advanced Project Manager. Per the work order, the candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
- Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
The description of the projects we are seeking a resource for is:
Agency is implementing the SaaS solution Intelligrants. The goal is to have an agency-wide solution to post grant opportunities and shepherd the applications through the grants management lifecycle. The system will allow agency staff and grantees to be able to manage all aspects of the grant lifecycle. The agency manages hundreds of grants, and grants can last several years. The project manager will manage the development, deployment, enhancements, and on-going running/maintenance. They should be able to work as an Agile scrum master, performing scrum ceremonies of daily check-ins, sprint planning, sprint reviews, etc. They will need to work closely with a product owner and the team (consisting of a product owner, a system administrator, an agile coach, and business analysts as well as a vendor lead developer and project manager) to successfully deliver the system. Once fully in production, this position will work with the team to establish a work cadence to process new grants and grant programs into GMS.
Anticipated Timeline: ASAP 06/30/2026 with the option to extend
Location (saint Paul, MN): Work will be remote with the occasional onsite requirement
