Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is seeking an exceptional Data Solutions Architect in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA. This is a hands-on position to lead the transformation of enterprise data architecture. The ideal candidate has enterprise-level experience and data strategy to build scalable, integrated, data foundation across systems, including OLTP and ERP systems. This role will be part of the IT team, will work closely with cross functional teams to define data architecture, and lead data modernization efforts.

This role will be based on our headquarters located in the San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
Build data messaging system to support reliable, scalable information flow between systems.
Design and lead implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture, including logical, physical, and integration layers across hundreds of databases.
Drive data consolidation and refactoring strategy across systems to reduce redundancy, simplify maintenance, and improve data accessibility.
Define reference architecture, data standards, and modeling frameworks across SQL Server and hybrid database technologies.
Serve as a cross-functional bridge between IT and data consumer supporting reporting, analytics, and business use cases.
Lead architectural design reviews, data integration planning discussions.
Collaborate with ERP teams, operational systems to modernize backend systems.
Initiate AI Storage initiatives and establish building blocks for future data-driven innovation.

Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in database architecture, data engineering, or related field.
Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data architectures across a variety of ecosystem.
Experience architecting datamarts or integration hubs that supports enterprise-access without creating dependencies.
Deep knowledge of ETL pipelines, data consolidation approaches, and tools (SSIS, custom scripts, or third-party).
Familiarity with data governance, data quality management concepts.
Understanding hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud) and modern trends in data platforms (e.g., data lakes, data virtualization, AI Storage).

Preferred Skills:
Experience with data modeling tools
Focus on back-end database architecture, integration, and data reliability across the enterprise
Proficiency with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Awareness of SOX/ITcontrols, SOD, and compliance-sensitive environments
Working knowledge of reporting and analytics ecosystems (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau) and business intelligence tools.

Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.

Salary Range

$150,000 - $180,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
