We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Power Platform, with demonstrated experience in setting up, configuring, and deploying complex automation solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will play a critical role in designing efficient workflows, integrating external systems, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure Microsoft Power Platform environments, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Define governance policies, security settings, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environment lifecycle management strategies for Power Platform deployments.
  • Design, develop, and deploy complex automation solutions using Power Automate, leveraging features such as triggers, actions, conditions, loops, and error handling.
  • Integrate Power Automate with external systems, databases, APIs, and cloud services using integration patterns and techniques.
  • Configure and use Power Automate connectors for popular applications and services like Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and Azure services.
  • Design efficient and scalable workflows and automation processes adhering to best practices and design patterns.
  • Analyze business requirements, model workflows, define automation logic, and optimize processes for improved efficiency and reliability.
  • Extend the capabilities of Power Automate through custom connectors, expressions, functions, and custom actions using Microsoft Power Platform SDKs and development tools.
  • Integrate custom code or external services within Power Automate workflows to address specific business requirements or extend platform functionality.
  • Manipulate and transform data within Power Automate workflows using data manipulation techniques and data transformation capabilities.
  • Implement security measures, role-based access controls, and data protection mechanisms to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Troubleshoot and debug Power Automate workflows, identifying and resolving errors, exceptions, and performance issues.
  • Use monitoring tools, logs, and diagnostic features within Power Automate to diagnose problems, analyze execution flows, and optimize workflow performance.
  • Document Power Automate workflows, automation logic, configurations, and integration requirements in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactively assess innovative solutions, experiment with new features, and collaborate on using emerging technologies to enhance business processes and productivity

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in setting up and configuring Microsoft Power Platform environments.
  • In-depth understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate capabilities, connectors, and components.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing complex automation solutions using Power Apps and Automate.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns and techniques for connecting Power Automate with external systems.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards related to data privacy and access control.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to document Power Apps and Power Automate workflows and configurations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
