Job Description

IC4-DCFE responsibilities include oversight of general facility operations and will work in conjunction with the site DCO and Colo-provider teams. The IC4-DCFE will have experience in data center mechanical, electrical, CMMS, and BMS systems. They possess knowledge of large-scale data centers, including state-of-the-art electrical distribution systems, static and rotary UPS, emergency standby generation, fire alarm/suppression and monitoring systems. In addition, the IC4-DCFE will be accountable for the coordination and completion of all significant planned and emergency maintenance events for the facility and confirm these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method to ensure the reliability of the critical loads supported by these systems. The IC4-DCFE is ultimately responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing operational strategies with the local site teams to achieve the highest level of availability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and recommend improvements to complex equipment and system SOO's, SOP's, MOP's, and EOP's when possible.
  • Witnesses and assists with data center construction management, commissioning and start-up.
  • Technical event management including post-event root cause analysis and infrastructure repair.
  • Supervises all construction activity and installations, in coordination with internal and external construction resources, to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards.
  • Develop, implement and audit local standard operating procedures, sequence of operations and maintenance standards to be in compliance with Oracle's standards and industry best practices.
  • Supervise local change management processes including the review and approval of all Method of Procedures (MOPs) for maintenance and one-time/emergency repair events in coordination with onsite personnel, contractors and customers.
  • Act as primary technical and operational contact for data centers - both as the technical lead and local point of escalation during emergency events and day to day operations. Develop knowledge of core business and the business function of the customer's local datacenter operation.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
