Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer. The successful candidate will be part of our team, implementing and supporting wide area networks (WAN), as well as providing third-level support for local area networks (LAN) across our organization. You will also collaborate with our Desktop Support Team to resolve site-specific network issues.

Responsibilities:

Implement and support wide area networks (WAN) to ensure smooth connectivity and network efficiency

Provide third-level support for local area networks (LAN), troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise

Collaborate with the Desktop Support Team to handle site-specific network issues impacting various computing devices

Manage client-based and site-to-site VPNs, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity

Segment networks using various methodologies to enhance network performance and security

Handle routed protocols with a particular emphasis on TCP/IP to maintain network integrity and performance

Manage multiple projects, ensuring each one is executed timely and efficiently

Interact with non-technical users across all levels within the organization, providing them with necessary network support and guidance

Use ticket remedy system or PeopleSoft CRM help desk ticket system to track and resolve network issues

Maintain and manage Cisco routers, Cisco switches, HP switches, and Cisco ASA firewalls.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Network Engineer or in a related role
Proficiency in Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies
Familiarity with Configuration Management and Firewall Technologies
Experience with Network Switches and Switches
Knowledge of LAN - Local Area Network and WAN Technologies
Ability to work with WAN - Wide Area Network
Previous work with Configuration Management
A strong understanding of Firewall Technologies
Proficiency in working with Network Switches
Experience in working with Switches
Comfortable in working with LAN - Local Area Network
Familiarity with WAN Technologies
Experience in working with WAN - Wide Area Network
