Senior DevOps Engineer

My client is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help expand their infrastructure and sharpen DevOps practices across the organization. They are looking for somebody who will lead their CI/CD strategy, boost platform observability, and drive improvements in their Google Cloud Platform-based systems in collaboration with a wider engineering team.

Details:

• Remote - Must be able to work across different time zones.


• Full-time, permanent


• Compensation: $150,000-$180,000 base

Responsibilities:

• Partner with product and engineering to evolve DevOps culture and tooling


• Lead implementation of monitoring, alerting, and logging systems


• Develop and maintain GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines (Flux preferred)


• Administer Kubernetes clusters and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using IaC


• Provide guidance on deployments, automation, and environment management


• Participate in architectural decisions and scaling strategies

Required Skills:

• 6+ years working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)


• 6+ years of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code workflows


• 6+ years managing Kubernetes in production


• 5+ years using GitOps, preferably Flux


• 5+ years with the ELK Stack for observability


• 6+ years coding in Python


• 5+ years working with PostgreSQL and Redis


• Experience with React.js (Next.js), GraphQL, and Apollo
