We have a 6+ month contract for a Project Manager for Physical Security Projects
Location: Hybrid - will work Remote with some need for onsite meetings and site visits(Must reside in or near the Palo Alto area)
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Through December 2025 (extension dependent on 2026 budget approval)
Overview:
Our Client's Department of Protective Services is hiring a Program Manager IV to support physical security initiatives across the Sacramento Division. This position plays a key role in implementing security systems under the Destination 2030 capital projects umbrella. Work will be remote but require travel to regional facilities for site coordination and project oversight.

responsibilities:
Oversee a project load of 30-50 concurrent initiatives involving security infrastructure build-outs.
Manage design, installation, and validation of access control and surveillance systems.
Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors for scope development, pricing, and delivery.
Analyze and execute projects based on ROM budgets and security design framework.
Translate technical floor plans into practical system layouts including camera and card reader placement.
Engage in cross-functional planning with facilities and IT for secure, compliant rollouts.
Use project tracking and reporting tools to maintain transparency and momentum.
qualifications:
8+ years of relevant experience in project/program management, ideally within security, infrastructure, or facilities environments.
Strong experience with platforms such as Secure 9000, Genetec, or other enterprise security tools.
Working knowledge of network and cybersecurity practices.
PMP preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
