Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Cloud Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes (GKE), and Infrastructure as Code to join our team on a long-term contract in Charlotte, NC.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 7+ years in cloud engineering, SRE, or platform engineering roles

  • 3+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience with a strong focus on GKE/Kubernetes

  • Proven experience as a technical lead or principal engineer

  • Expert-level Terraform experience for managing cloud infrastructure

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, including Istio, Helm, and cluster operations

  • Strong Docker and containerization knowledge

  • Advanced scripting skills in Python or Go

  • Strong experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Google Cloud Operations Suite

  • In-depth knowledge of core Google Cloud Platform services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, etc.

  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
