Job Title Sr. Ping Engineer TS/SCI with CI Poly

Location Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD; Herndon, VA; Columbia, MD

Role Type Contract or Direct Hire

Must Have Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance
  • Demonstrated experience working in classified environments
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or at least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Ping Identity certifications (Professional/Expert) in PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, PingOne
  • Solid understanding of governance and compliance frameworks

Responsibilities and Job Details:

  • Lead the delivery of engagements with a focus on Ping Identity product implementations
  • Operate independently to manage and execute all technical aspects of assigned scopes of work
  • Act as the primary technical lead on projects, mentoring and directing junior engineering staff
  • Interface directly with clients to assess needs, present solutions, and lead implementation efforts
  • Provide escalation support for complex technical issues
  • Conduct client-facing technical discussions and translate needs into actionable technical plans
  • Track engagement progress, maintain documentation, and provide consistent updates to stakeholders
  • Drive career development and operational success for associate and mid-level engineers on the team
  • Contribute to internal strategy and brand awareness efforts through thought leadership
  • Participate in creating and refining internal standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a high level of technical proficiency through continuous learning and certification
