Job Title : Deployment Technician

Location: Rock Island, IL

Duration: Long term

Job Type : Contract (We can consider - W2 )

Travel to client location if needed

Responsibilities:

• System Deployment: Install and configure new computer systems, including hardware and software.
• Software Installation: Ensure all necessary applications and software are correctly installed and updated.
• Data Migration: Transfer data from old systems to new ones, ensuring no loss of information.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to system deployment and operation.

• User Support: Provide support to end-users, including training on new systems and addressing any issues they encounter.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of all deployed systems and maintain accurate records.
• Security: Implement security measures to protect systems and data, including setting up VPNs and managing user permissions.

• Proven experience as a PC Deployment Technician or similar role
• Understanding of Asset management and working with Factories and Users for asset tracking in excel and updating CMDB. Scheduling asset updating as per need
• Should be very good in Coordination with vendors, internal team, customers and different parties

• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
