Description
The Installation Technician II is responsible for the installation and repair of telecommunications equipment at customer sites and data centers. This role requires a strong understanding of Ethernet, DWDM, SONET, IP, and VOIP technologies, as well as AC/DC power systems and proper grounding practices. The technician will work independently and ensure all installations meet company quality standards and testing procedures.

Fiber Optic Splicing & Handling: Experience with fiber splicing, connectorization, and cable management. Reading Technical Schematics: Ability to interpret Design Layout Records (DLRs), wiring diagrams, and network topology maps. Safety & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA standards and telecom safety protocols. Inventory Management: Tracking and managing installation tools, parts, and equipment. Customer Service Orientation: Professional demeanor when interacting with clients on-site.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
