Job Description:

As a Process Engineering Co-op, you will support manufacturing operations within the value streams by assisting with process improvement activities, data collection, and equipment support. This role offers an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in real-world manufacturing settings, develop technical skills, and build strong industry relationships. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to process development, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with coordinating engineering activities to support high-quality manufacturing processes.
  • Support equipment maintenance, process performance tracking, and data collection.
  • Help perform experiments and capability studies-document findings and assist in analyzing results.
  • Support the evaluation of equipment and process improvements under supervision.
  • Develop and update process documentation and training materials.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and audit-related activities, supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process projects, including new product introductions and upgrades.
  • Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Support daily manufacturing activities and ongoing process troubleshooting.
  • Communicate findings and progress to team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related engineering field.
  • Strong interest in process engineering and manufacturing.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator.
  • Willingness to work on-site during regular business hours.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibilities over multiple work sessions.
