Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Mentor, Ohio, and provide essential technical assistance to our organization. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring seamless functionality across multiple systems. This position requires a proactive approach to support both on-site and remote users efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop systems, including Windows and Unix operating systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 and other IT applications.
Assist remote employees with technical challenges, including mobile device support and connectivity.
Manage and maintain Azure Active Directory and Active Directory environments.
Diagnose and address networking issues to maintain stable and secure connections.
Perform routine maintenance and updates for hardware and software systems.
Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and workflows.
Ensure proper documentation of technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate technical solutions effectively to users.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience in desktop support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other IT-related tools.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Unix environments.
Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory and Active Directory.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with users and team members.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support.
