Summary/General Description Of Job:
Amentum is seeking an IT Manager for a contract located in the Washington State, Kitsap County area. Must have excellent communication, time management, and detail-oriented skills, which you'll put to use overseeing and managing the end-to-end delivery of IT service and projects for operations, ensuring its alignment with ITIL approaches.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Administer and support primary and secondary software resources.
Maintain a highly efficient and bug-free Information System.
Review project proposals, including objectives, scope, and user expectations.
Gather and analyze data to prepare project synopses comparing alternatives in terms of cost, time, equipment, and personnel.
Recommend courses of action and prepare specifications for program development.
Maintain system hardware and software resources.
Develop and maintain the project's network infrastructure.
Coordinate systems development and production across all project areas.
Provide training, education, and assistance to end users to ensure proper operation of applications and procedures.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including desktop references, SOPs, and user manuals.
Communicate effectively with upper management and end users.
Accountable For:
Completing all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.
Timely and cost-effective performance of duties.
Timely completion and accuracy of all departmental work.
Dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
Adherence to established company safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices.
Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures.
Having the ability to work well under pressure.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):
Mandatory
Associate's degree in computer science
Ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Drivers license.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance

Work Environment:
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):
Mandatory
Associate's degree in computer science
- Minimum of 7 years of related computer experience, or strong background in Logistics Management, Operations Management, and Personnel Management.
- Windows System Administration experience
Ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in help desk activities, recapitalization, networks, development of system security plans, and protected communication technologies.
Valid Drivers license.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
Preferred
- Experience working on government or military contracts.
- Documented experience in IC IT systems including implementing INFOSEC policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Current Secret Security Clearance
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in both office and field environments.
- May require occasional lifting, climbing, and exposure to outdoor conditions.
- Must be able to pass background checks and obtain necessary base access credentials.
