Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Senior QA Engineer in the B2C / Secondary Ticketing market. Based in Dallas, Texas, the selected candidate will be part of a team that ensures the quality of our software products. This role involves working closely with business and engineering teams to develop and implement test strategies that ensure the reliability and efficiency of our services.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business and engineering teams to produce clear and well-documented requirements

Analyze the requirements, devise a test strategy to cover the requirements, develop high-level test scenarios that implement the strategy, and elaborate these scenarios into detailed test cases

Own the QA process throughout the projects, including monitoring testing progress, reporting status, logging defects, tracking and testing defect fixes, and collaborating with team members

Perform regression testing using automation scripts

Demonstrate strong experience with API and Service testing

Work within Agile software development using SCRUM/Agile methodologies

Play a lead role in certifying releases with the highest quality

Validate product configuration settings on each environment (dev, integration, and production)

Must have a strong understanding of the financial services industry
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
Proficient in AB Testing practices
Experience in Automation for testing purposes
Familiarity with Cypress testing tool
Strong knowledge of JavaScript
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
