Job Title: Genesys Cloud Architect
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid/Remote)
Employment Type-Contract/W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Genesys Cloud Architect to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions using Genesys Cloud and AWS services. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to architect, integrate, and optimize customer engagement solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure Genesys Cloud solutions in alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect integrations with existing enterprise systems (CRM, databases, etc.).
  • Lead and drive the implementation of contact center solutions utilizing Genesys Cloud, AWS, and other cloud technologies.
  • Oversee the design, architecture, and deployment of cloud-based applications to improve customer experience.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, compliance, and data governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, workflows, and integrations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system performance issues and provide solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer engagement innovations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Genesys Cloud or similar contact center platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, and DynamoDB.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, application design, and deployment on public cloud platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of Genesys Cloud, Amazon Connect, AWS Lambda, and AWS Lex.
  • Strong experience with API integrations, web services, and cloud security best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects, designing scalable solutions, and delivering complex cloud-based applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications in AWS, Genesys Cloud, or Solution Architecture are a plus.
  • Experience with customer engagement and multi-channel support (voice, chat, email, etc.).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.
