**Hybrid | Westlake, TX**

The Digital Shared Services team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic, globally distributed team of IT professionals. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of a digital shared services platform. The role involves using innovative technologies to enhance 401k business capabilities within the workplace investing business domain. The position is based in Westlake, Texas, with flexible hours and on-call responsibilities every six weeks.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $68 - $74 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable, server-side enterprise applications and domain logic-intensive RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with technology and business teams to establish development standards and build solutions across business capabilities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers.
  • Re-platform large applications and debug legacy systems to aid modernization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-volume transactional systems.
  • Develop cloud-neutral applications in AWS and Azure.
  • Participate in formal reviews of architecture, design, and code.
  • Provide support for software releases into production environments.
  • Publish clear, concise, and thorough design documentation.
  • Collaborate with producer and consumer teams to implement end-to-end solutions.

Experience Requirements:
Required:
  • 9+ years of software development experience on business-critical, enterprise-wide applications.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET coding practices for mid-tier applications.
  • Expertise in building scalable, server-side enterprise applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Experience with re-platforming large applications.
  • Experience in developing cloud-neutral applications in AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with Mainframe applications.
  • Experience with Source Control Systems such as GIT.
  • CICD experience using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  • Ability to develop technical artifacts based on analysis of business and systems requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.


Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of Java APIs and GraphQL.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies.
  • Experience with Java, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase).
  • Experience with popular IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ).
  • Experience with Test automation tools (SOATEST, SOASTA, Cucumber).
  • Understanding of Micro-services Architecture and domain-driven design patterns.
  • Experience with containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) APIs deployment to AWS/Azure.
  • Knowledge of current technologies and evolving trends.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technology discipline.
