Job Title: Senior Python Developer
Location: Washington, D.C. (4 Days/week Onsite - Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 6 months contract
Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our Enterprise Data Management team, supporting critical Treasury data functions. This role requires a strong Python and SQL background, with an ability to analyze and troubleshoot reporting issues. You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between data processing and business reporting, especially during U.S. hours when our offshore team is offline.
Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Python development with a focus on data processing and scripting.

  • Strong experience with SQL for querying large datasets and identifying anomalies.

  • Exposure to Power BI (you won't be developing reports, but should understand report data sources and relationships).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a curious, analytical mindset.

  • Experience working in or with Enterprise Data Management or financial systems preferred.

  • Comfortable navigating and understanding complex data flows.

  • Proven ability to learn systems independently and dig into data issues with limited documentation.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of treasury or financial data systems.

  • Experience working in a global support model with offshore teams.

  • Familiarity with enterprise-level data architecture or ETL pipelines.
