Project: Data Migration IBM Content OnDemand

Contract Length: 2- weeks

About the Role
We are looking for a Software Developer with expertise in IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) to lead data extraction, transformation, and validation efforts during a large-scale migration project. This role is critical for ensuring data integrity and compliance across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract data from CMOD, including metadata fields (File Name, Created Year, Application Group).
  • Transform and map data to meet drop zone requirements:
  • Created Year (e.g., 2008)
  • Application Group (e.g., US-JDE-7YR)
  • Content Types (TIFF, PNG, JPG, etc.)
  • Validate and reconcile migrated data by matching record counts against dashboards.
  • Document processes and restrict unauthorized system access to CMOD scheduled jobs/tasks.

Technical Environment

  • IBM Content Manager OnDemand v9.5
  • Platforms: AIX 6, Red Hat Linux
  • Database: Oracle DB (HA), Oracle Client 10
  • DNS configuration for report delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with IBM CMOD (v9.5 preferred).
  • Strong skills in data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases and Linux/AIX environments.
  • Ability to document processes and troubleshoot in enterprise setups.

Ideal Candidate
