Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, the Software Engineer 3 will contribute to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. The role involves reviewing and analyzing challenges, collaborating with client personnel, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The candidate will leverage their expertise to resolve issues and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Java experience.
• 3+ years of microservices development experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• 2+ years of Agile experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science.
• 2+ years of MongoDB experience or another NoSQL Database.
• 3+ years of microservices development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building cloud-ready enterprise solutions in one or a combination of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• 2+ years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Enterprise.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
• JavaScript programming language experience.
• Experience with in-memory databases.
