Network Solutions Engineer

Our client, a Leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of 3 Network Solutions Engineers for initial 12 month contracts onsite in Honolulu, HI. The Network Solutions Engineers will be supporting a global (178 sites) SD WAN Implementation into an established AWS Cloud environment for the Department of Defense. The Network Solutions Engineers will be primarily responsible ensuring that the designs are in line with the current network architecture, ensuring Infrastructure strategy documentation, as well as leading the end to end delivery of the customers SD WAN solutions.

Required Skills:

• At least 10 years of experience with a bachelors degree.
  
• Prior experience leading the delivery / implementation of enterprise Cisco SD WAN solutions, specifically in an AWS cloud environment.
  
• Prior experience implementing / designing enterprise Network Architecture Solutions, specifically around Cisco.
  
• Experience supporting the design, implementation and administration of Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  
• Must be comfortable communicating progress and challenges with customer and program leadership.

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

• Any level of Cisco, AWS or Palo Alto certification.
  
• Candidates that are veterans / ex-military.
  
• Any experience supporting Hyper Converged Infrastructure, specifically from a VMware perspective.
