Job Details

D365 Finance and Operations Analyst ( Senior) Remote

Responsible for supporting and optimizing financial and operational processes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, including implementing, configuring, and testing solutions, as well as providing training and support to end-users

Work with the Business users in Finance to understand areas of optimization and suggest workarounds and process changes. Life sciences background with location in MA or Boston preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Expertise:

Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain Management).

Ability to analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and propose solutions within the D365 platform.

Configure and customize D365 Finance and Operations modules to meet specific business needs.

Develop and maintain D365 Finance and Operations documentation.

Implementation and Testing:

Participate in the implementation of D365 Finance and Operations solutions.

Conduct functional, data, and process testing to ensure the system operates as expected.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to D365 Finance and Operations.

Training and Support:

Provide training and support to end-users on D365 Finance and Operations functionalities.

Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.

Act as a point of contact for D365 Finance and Operations related inquiries.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT departments.

Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with the latest D365 Finance and Operations features and best practices.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within D365 Finance and Operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Information Technology).

Experience:

Proven experience in D365 Finance and Operations, preferably with a focus on functional analysis and implementation.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial processes.

Familiarity with D365 Finance and Operations modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain Management). 10 years plus

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Soft Skills:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
