Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Tech Lead with strong backend development expertise to join a strategic project. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Kafka, and AWS Cloud. This is a hybrid role based in Fort Mill, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive end-to-end backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement scalable and secure microservices.
- Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka for asynchronous communication.
- Develop and deploy applications to AWS cloud environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product.
- Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
- Review code, ensure best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Provide timely delivery of technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in backend development using Java.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Solid experience with Apache Kafka (event-driven architecture).
- Proficiency in AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, security, and performance tuning.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
